Materials not owned by Pequot Library or the Fairfield Public
Library can be borrowed from other libraries. This service is
called Interlibrary Loan and is often referred to as “ILL”.
All Pequot Library patrons are eligible to request books through
Interlibrary Loan.
Materials usually take at least two weeks to arrive.
There is no charge for this service, although occasionally lending
libraries will charge a fee. Patrons will be notified of any fee
before the material is ordered.
Patrons are notified by telephone or e-mail when their ILL materials
arrive.
The lending period for ILL materials is generally 28 days, unless
otherwise specified by the lending library. ILL materials are
non-renewable.
If you have questions about the Interlibrary Loan service, please
contact the ILL Coordinator.
